Dripped Dreams
The sculpture is formed from a blend of fine sand (a byproduct of construction), salt, and a plant-based binder, applied through a process inspired by sand casting. By slowly dripping this mixture, the work mimics geological layering, creating forms that solidify over time yet remain inherently fragile.
Designed to degrade, these objects critique the illusion of stability, embodying cycles of growth and decay that define both natural and constructed worlds. Through its self-erasing materiality, sculpture invites contemplation on the transient nature of human and geological timescales.
Material: Concrete-reject sand (by-product), recycled tinware, plant-based binder
