Ocean Articulated explores the geological deep-time of salt and sand in Northern Switzerland, rethinking these materials as cyclical rather than consumable. Using local resources, the project develops a recyclable, load-bearing material shaped through sand casting. Designed to decompose and return to its raw state, the work proposes a model of material ethics that resists permanence and reframes extraction as temporal borrowing.
